J. Davis Construction, contractor for ASI Southeast, is pleased to announce that despite the numerous weather delays of this summer, construction of the latest ASI facility is ahead of schedule.

As previously reported, ASI Southeast, which makes washroom accessories, toilet partitions and lockers, is currently building a new $16 Million manufacturing facility in Toccoa that will create 50 additional jobs.

The latest building, located in the Meadowbrook Industrial Park, will have 14,000 square feet of manufacturing space and an additional 12,000 square feet of office space. It will manufacture custom plastic and metal fabrications, as well as commercial bathroom stalls and fixtures.

“I take great pride in the work we have completed thus far at the ASI location,” said Joel Davis, President of J. Davis Construction. “I want to commend all of the J. Davis employees and the subcontractors who are working on this project. The project’s success at this point is due, in large part, to their commitment and attention to detail.” Mr. Davis went on to add.

ASI has also been very pleased with the progress to this point.

“J. Davis Construction has exceeded our expectations so far on this project. We are extremely impressed with how efficient their construction process has been thus far.” stated Matt Stepp, Director of Engineering, ASI Southeast. “Their ability to self perform has truly been a huge benefit and reason for this project being ahead of schedule.”

This latest addition to the ASO family is a follow-up to the new facility completed in 2016 by J. Davis Construction. It is scheduled for completion in October of 2017.
