JDavis Construction Completes Reconstruction for Country Club of Sapphire Valley

JDavis Construction, one of the fastest growing General Contractors in the Upstate of South Carolina, is pleased to announce the completion of renovations to Sapphire Valley Country Club’s clubhouse after a catastrophic fire destroyed half of the facility in 2017.

Reconstruction on the 21,000 square foot facility began in late August of 2017 and continued until late 2018. Some of the features included a new kitchen facility, dining area and updated mechanical facilities.

The attention to detail was one thing that JDavis Construction’s President Joel Davis was determined to bring back to the clubhouse.

“When we heard of the devastating fire at Sapphire Valley, we immediately wanted to reach out and see what we could do to help,” says Davis. “This was a tremendous loss for that community, and we felt it was our duty to help get them back on their feet as soon as possible.”

The facilities have since been received by both very excited patrons as well as the owners of the community.

“In my practice as a consulting engineer, I have completed projects through the country with many different contractors,” said owners representative Larry Smith. “I have found JDavis Construction to be one of the most professional and caring organizations I have had the privilege to work with. Their work on this project was first-class in every way.”

Davis recalls his thoughts after first learning of the Clubhouse fire.

“Our goal from day one was to restore this prestigious property to its former beauty,” said Davis. “We feel the final rebuild exceeds those expectations and we are proud to leave Sapphire Valley with a facility they can be proud of for years to come.”
