January 21, 2019

JDavis Construction, one of the fastest growing General Contractors in the Upstate of South Carolina, announced today, that renovations to Walhalla Elementary have been completed on-time and under budget.

Located in West Union, South Carolina, the school underwent a series of both new construction initiatives as well as renovating existing space within the school. These improvements included a complete redesign of the front traffic pattern to ease congestion for dropping off and picking up students, a new gymnasium and locker room facility, and a renovation of the old gym into new classrooms.

Richard Alexander, Director of the Oconee School District, had this to say concerning the final product. “The project came in on time, under budget and at a very high quality at Walhalla Elementary,” said Alexander. “The renovations were quite challenging. Our schedule was tight, but it was met in a very professional manner.”

Joel Davis, President and Owner of J. Davis Construction, spoke very highly of working with the Oconee County School District on this important project. “Education has always been a high priority for JDavis Construction,” said Davis. “Providing our local communities with the best facilities possible for our children’s future is something that we are very passionate about.”

According to Alexander, “The common theme you will always find with J. Davis is a company that is easy to work with while doing an excellent job.”
