J. Davis had completed several industrial construction projects along with many governmental projects. In addition, in 2008, began working with a local industry client doing capital projects, fabrication, and facility maintenance—a partnership that continues to this day. ​

This period also marked major steps in company culture and innovation. Safety meetings, core values, and company-branded uniforms became standard practices. J. Davis’s footprint, brand recognition, project size, workload, and overall value continued to grow. Even during the 2008 market downturn, the company held firm, building a solid foundation for the future.
